A Practicum Student in Counselling Psychology is a graduate-level student completing supervised clinical training as part of a master's degree in counselling psychology. Practicum students provide counselling services under the guidance and supervision of an experienced clinical supervisor while developing the skills and competencies required for professional practice.

I’m a Master of Counselling intern with over ten years of experience supporting individuals and groups through creative practices.
I work with adults (18+) navigating the challenges of grief and loss, anxiety (including performance anxiety), creative blocks, and life transitions. I focus on opportunities for imagination, play, expression and a connection to self, others and the natural world.
Drawing on my background as a singer, nature poet, and voice and movement facilitator I weave voice, storytelling, movement, and mindfulness to support aliveness. I respect the unique culture and context that each person brings and work collaboratively to integrate approaches such as expressive arts therapy, parts work, narrative and somatic therapy.

I am a counselling practicum student focused on supporting individuals living with chronic pain. My approach integrates pain reprocessing therapy and somatic practices, recognizing pain as both a physical and neurological experience. My interest in this work is shaped by my own journey with migraines, which has deepened my understanding of the challenges of living with persistent pain. I work with clients to build awareness of body sensations, reduce fear around pain, and develop supportive patterns that promote relief and regulation. I aim to create a space that feels safe, curious, and supportive, where clients can explore new ways of relating to their pain. We offer a variety of evidence-based counseling services, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. We also offer specialized services for children and adolescents, as well as support for LGBTQ+ individuals and families.
